Laura has completed three projects in our home. A full first floor remodel, an office remodel and a stunning bathroom remodel. We bought a house that was built in the 80's. So every room needed remodeling from flooring, painting, lighting.... etc. I found Laura on Houzz. Within a couple of days after we met, I had a google doc proposal with an estimate for each room, and a general contractor to bid on the job. Within a week, remodeling started. Laura is very organized, a great listener, accessible (replies to my texts and emails in all kinds of hours). Buying a house is stressful. Remodeling is taunting. I can write a book on challenges we had with remodeling. Laura was with us in every step and we couldn't have it without her. We moved into the house in July and we are thrilled with the results. Now Laura is helping us with furniture and accessories.

By far, Laura was the absolutely best team member we had on our $300k project. Laura's exceptional responsiveness is exceeded only by her outstanding eye for design and her budget conscious approach to make our remodeling/furniture investment reach as far as possible. Laura is a great listener, will allow clients the room to be engaged with the design process but at the same time my wife and I also appreciated when she felt strongly about a particular idea or approach that we might have not fully understood at first. Like any good service provider Laura takes the time to explain her reasoning/intent which made us feel like we were a part of the process as opposed to designers who just expect you to take their recommendations as gospel and not to be questioned (yes...it happens). It felt like we received a lesson in good design because, dammit, in the end, she was always right. With that said, we never felt like we were being pushed and Laura always effectively provided the cost/benefit analysis for our decisions. I've worked with several designers in the past and she was head-and-shoulders the best we've ever experienced. She made the process fun and we always enjoyed our time together. We now understand why Laura has so many repeat customers and we look forward to doing our next project together. Laura receives our highest recommendation.

Laura does not force a design style direction on her clients. She listens, asks questions, and wants to understand what you like, don't like, and how you "live" in your home. From the first interview we had with Laura at Queen Bee Interiors we knew she was the right designer to help us creatively enhance our home!
